K 2 Table Top Semi-Automatic

These low cost machines are the ideal plastic strapping system for low to moderate volume shippers. They can help improve packaging productivity by reducing the labor and material costs. These machines are efficient for strapping cartons, bundles, and coiled products. The operator positions the package, draws the pre-fed length of plastic strap around your package, inserts the strapping into the lower chute and the machine automatically tensions, seals and cuts the strap.

• This machine is the reliable economical answer to light - duty applications.
• Strap loading is easy by opening the pool box and inserting the tip of the strap into the machine. The machine is simple to operate by push button or foot pedal. The JK's space saving design is ideally suited for tight or limited working spaces.

• HIGH SPEED. With a strapping cycle time of 1.5 seconds, the machine is capable of up to 40 straps per minute.
• AUTO STRAP EJECTS. If the RQ8 is operated accidentally without a package, the strap will form a small loop which will be automatically ejected from the sealing unit leaving the machine ready for the next cycle.
• EASY STRAP LOADING. To load the strap, the operator lifts the feed lever on the outside of the machine and inserts 8" of strap. Move the feed lever to the run position, press the start switch, and the strap is automatically threaded in the machine and around the arch.
• WIDE TENSION RANGE. By turning a single dial on the control panel the tension can be set up to 200 lbs.
• RELIABLE. The RQ8 has been designed for long term reliability with superior designed components, such as the self-lubricating system.

RQ8Y Automatic Strapping Machine

This RQ8Y is the side seal version of the RQ8 that adapts easily to existing or proposed conveyor systems. The RQ8Y is ideal for heavy products that are hard to handle and for products where debris is a concern getting into the sealing head.
